This GIF series was made for NeonMob.com. Each card in the series is color themed to a season and accompanied by a haiku to evoke their tableau. 

Spring Bamboo

Repose beneath leaves. 

Bending wood and narrow path. 

Forest thick but soft.

Summer Waterfall

Quick rushing water. 

Suicide plunge into air.

Far remote from eyes.

The first lightbox I made as a gift for my cousins. This was the inspiration for my digital Lightbox Landscape NeonMob series. I made a cardstock construction out of several layers (spaced with some thin particle board) with the window growing gradually smaller to give the illusion of distance. I rigged a set of christmas rice lights to run back and forth along the top edge to cast light downwards and create a silhouette effect on the bottom of the motif.

This is the second lightbox I made as a gift. I was able to separate the different colors into each frame panel and create a different motif for each. This one inspired the majority of the NeonMob series.
